Steve Potter Photography is the culmination of my lifelong passion for capturing the natural world through the lens. Specialising in wildlife photography, my work spans continents—from the sweeping savannahs of Africa to the lush rainforests of Southeast Asia—documenting rare species and unforgettable moments in nature. Since founding the business, I’ve combined my love of photography with a deep commitment to conservation and cultural immersion, offering clients not just images, but experiences that resonate.

Since 2019, I’ve been personally escorting small-group safaris across Africa, guiding photographers and wildlife enthusiasts to prime locations for exceptional birding and wildlife encounters. These journeys are designed to maximise photographic opportunities while fostering a shared appreciation for the beauty and fragility of the ecosystems we explore. Leading these safaris is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work—each trip brings together people from all walks of life, united by curiosity, creativity, and a love for the wild.
